The trainer for people who want more from fitness, and need someone genuinely in their corner.
1-on-1 training in Abbotsford and the Fraser Valley. Nutrition included. Every decision explained. Built around the schedule you actually have.
You know it's time.
- You sit at a desk most of the day and feel it. The stiffness, the low energy, the sense that your body isn't keeping up with the rest of your life.
- You know fitness matters. You want something built around the schedule you actually have, not the ideal version that assumes your life cooperates.
- You want to see real change. Clothes fitting differently, more energy, better sleep. Without fitness taking over everything else.
- You want to understand what you're doing and why. Not just follow a program and hope it makes sense eventually.
I pay attention. I explain every decision. And when something isn't working, we fix it. That's what I mean by being in your corner.

I cover both sides. And I explain every decision I make.
I'm Jonah, personal trainer and nutrition coach based in Abbotsford. I train people 1-on-1, building programs around the schedule and situation they actually have. Nutrition is part of every program too: calorie and protein targets, a practical framework for eating in a way that fits real life. Not because I'm trying to cover more ground, but because training without the nutrition piece leaves half the work undone.
What I do differently: I explain every decision. Every exercise, every target. You hear what it's doing and why it's there. I spent years in content creation learning how to break things down clearly, and that carried directly into how I coach. The program gets built around the life you have right now. Not a version of it where everything cooperates.
How it works
Free 20-minute call
You tell me where you're at, what you've tried, and what you actually want. I explain how I work. It's free because I want you to see how this works before you commit to anything.
You see the program before you pay
I send an intake form: training history, schedule, any injuries, your goal in your own words. Based on that, I put together a rough program outline and share it with you. You see the plan before you commit to anything.
Session 1: Movement assessment and program lock-in
Session 1 is a full movement assessment and program finalization. You leave knowing exactly what you're doing and why. I check in between sessions, answer questions, and adjust as we go.
You see the program before you pay for it.
Three block options. Same training and nutrition coverage in all of them. You see the full program before you commit to anything. Pick the one that fits where you're at.
Included in every block
Starter
8 sessions. A full training and nutrition block. Good for someone who wants to experience the structure before going longer.
~4 weeks at 2x/week, ~3 weeks at 3x/week
Already know you're in? Say so in the form.
Foundation
12 sessions. What most people start with. Enough time for visible progress, for real habits to form, and for momentum you can actually feel.
~6 weeks at 2x/week, ~4 weeks at 3x/week
Already know you're in? Say so in the form.
Committed
20 sessions. For people who want to go all in and see it through. The lowest per-session rate and enough time to build something real.
~10 weeks at 2x/week, ~7 weeks at 3x/week
Already know you're in? Say so in the form.
You see the full program outline before you pay anything. If it's not the right fit, that's genuinely fine. Nothing owed, no pressure either way.
I'm taking on four clients to start. At this stage I can give every client more direct time and attention than I'll be able to once I'm at full capacity. The price reflects that.
Not ready for a full block?
Book a single session for $65. Full 60 minutes: movement assessment, a real starting point for your training, and nutrition basics covered. You'll leave with a clear picture of what working together looks like. Nothing owed after.
Every client gets a calorie target, a protein target, and a practical framework for eating in a way that fits their actual life. I share how I approach it personally: what I track, how I hit my targets, how I make it sustainable. Nutrition questions get answered between sessions. Just part of what we're doing.
Taking on four clients to start.
This practice is being built right now. I'm taking on four people to start, which means each client gets more direct time and attention than I'll be able to give once I'm at capacity. The first results will be posted here as they come in.

I've tried this before and it hasn't stuck. What's different?
Most programs that don't stick have the same problems: they were built for someone else's schedule, they covered training but left nutrition to you, and nobody was checking in between sessions to catch things before they derailed. This is built specifically for your schedule and covers both sides: training and nutrition together. I check in between sessions because that's when things actually fall off. And because you see the full program before you pay anything, you go into session 1 knowing exactly what you're doing and why, instead of just showing up and hoping it makes sense.
Do you cover nutrition, or is that separate?
It's included. Every client gets calorie and protein targets, a practical framework for eating in a way that fits their life, and I answer nutrition questions between sessions. I share how I approach it personally: what I track, how I hit my targets, what makes it work in real life. It's built into every program.
What if I'm not in good enough shape to start?
The intake form tells me exactly where you're starting from. I build from there. There is no 'too out of shape to start.' That's the situation I build programs for. Session 1 is a movement assessment, not a test. You're not being evaluated against anyone else.
What if I have injuries or physical limitations?
That's exactly what the movement assessment in session 1 is designed to address. Most people have something. Old injuries, mobility restrictions, things that flare up. I build around them. A program that ignores your limitations isn't a program, it's a liability.
My schedule is unpredictable. Is that going to be a problem?
It's one of the most common things I work around. The program is built for your actual schedule, not a theoretical one. If things shift, we adjust. That's what the mid-week check-in is for. I know what's going on between sessions, and we catch things before they become a problem.
Do I need to already have a gym membership?
No. We figure out your training setup in the intake form, whether that's a commercial gym, a home setup, or something in between. The program gets built around what you actually have access to, not what's ideal on paper.
Do I need to track my food or use an app?
For the first week, yes. I'll have you log what you're eating in MyFitnessPal (it's free). Not because tracking is the long-term plan, but because one week of data teaches you things that take most people years to figure out: what a normal day actually looks like in calories, what enough protein feels like, where the gaps are. After that week, you have the context to make better calls without tracking every meal. I walk you through the app and answer questions along the way.
Is $900 worth it if I'm not sure this will work?
That's what the call is for. You don't pay until you've seen the full program built for you, and you see it before you commit to anything. If after the call and the program outline it doesn't feel right, that's fine. Nothing owed. You're not deciding whether this works until you've actually seen what it looks like for you specifically.
